Oil/water Separators have for years been used to store oil/water mixtures to
allow time for separation. After separation, typically water is expelled
from the tank and when full oil/grease can be removed from the tank and
disposed of as to not contaminate municipal water supplies. Utilizing
patented KleerwaterTM coalescer technology, we have developed a
much safer and cleaner way to do the job.
The unit was designed with bulk plant facilities in mind. Water from
aboveground dike areas has always been an issue. Until now, even with
underground oil/water separators, personnel were required to manually open
valves and visually inspect expelled water to be sure no oil sheen was
present on surface. This can be ineffective because even at 5PPM the sheen
can sometimes be missed.
This separator does it all. The Patent Pending System monitors the
contained area for liquid. A sensor then turns on the diaphragm pump. The
liquid enters the separator where it is constantly monitored for oil and
water level. The coalescing area uses KleerwaterTM coalescer
balls which increase the surface area of the coalescer itself. This is vital
to ensure the low oil rise time needed for proper liquid movement through
the separator. When the oil level reaches a point where it needs to be
removed, the system shuts down and a light flashes to warn of needed
attention. This particular model reduced 3200 PPM to 8.3 PPM in the
discharge instantly. It took 33 reducing it to <5 PPM!!! Most areas will only
require <10 PPM! This unit far exceeds it's expectations!! Please click

This system was built tough by people in the industry who understand that
low quality could be an environmental catastrophe. And did we forget to
mention the unit is completely plug and play. No electronics to hang on your
office wall! Everything is self contained. Units are 240v single-phase
(three-phase units available). The incorporated Gorman-RuppTM
diaphragm pump pushes a hefty 27GPM. The tank is rated at the discharge for
45GPM. So spillage is nearly impossible. The brain of the unit is its
impressive NEMA 7/9 onboard explosion-proof
electronics box built by Aggressive SystemsTM. It has a lockout
switch right on the front to disconnect power from the unit.
